Vaanam: Almost complete
Simbu-Anushka starrer Vaanam will reportedly grace theatres during Valentine’s weekend in February. According to sources, Vaanam is almost 90% complete including the talkie portion. Only parts of a song remain to be shot.
Vaanam is the remake of critically acclaimed Telugu film Vedam and Simbu will don the role of Cable Raju (originally played by Allu Arjun) in the Tamil version. Anushka reprises her role from the original. The film also has Sneha Ullal, Bharath and Vega in prominent roles. Reportedly a mass kuthu song picturised on Simbu and Anushka will be added to this movie and the script has been changed to suit the taste of Tamil audiences.
The film is directed by Krish and produced by R.B. Chowdary of Supergood Movies

Promising director Krish’s Allu Arjun-Manoj-Anushka starrer Vedam is being remade in Tamil as Vaanam. R.B. Chowdary of Super Good Movies bought the Tamil remake rights. Simbu will don the role of Cable Raju (originally played by Allu Arjun) in the Tamil version.
Anushka reprises her role from the original. Now the latest buzz is that the film will grace theatres in April (for Tamil New Year). There are reports that a mass kuthu song picturised on Simbu and Anushka will be added to the movie and the script has been changed to suit the taste of Tamil audiences.
